This guide explains how to download, install, and launch Assault Tech 1: BattleTech using MTX. It is assumed you have already downloaded and installed MTX. See here for an installtion guide for MTX.

Run MTX: If MTX is not already running, you can run it from the installed icon on your desktop or from your Start Menu - All Programs>MekTek.net>MTX

Click on the Games Available tab:

In the Games You Can Install section, left click Assault Tech1: BattleTech, then left click Install Game:

The game now has begun downloading and will automatically install. The bottom portion of the window shows the download progress:

You can pause or stop the download by left clicking on Assault Tech1: BattleTech in the Games You Can Install section, the left clicking either Stop Download or Pause Download. To resume, left click on Assault Tech1: BattleTech again, then left click Resume Download:

MTX will continue to seed (upload to other users) Assault Tech 1: BattleTech until the game is first launched.

Assault Tech1: BattleTech should now appear in the Installed Games section on the Games Available tab:

Left click on Assault Tech1: BattleTech then left clickLaunch Game:
